If you are wondering: Who is Punch the monkey? You have come to the right place!
Backstory:
Punch the monkey, a young macaque, was found abandoned by his mother the moment he was born. A zoo in Japan (‘Ichikawa City Zoo in Chiba, Japan’ as Wikipedia states) took him in and gave him an ikea macaque toy, hoping to raise his spirits and make him feel less lonely. Punch was so obsessed with his new toy that he dragged it every where he went! However, Punch was often bullied by other monkeys, which broke peoples’ hearts💔. Don’t worry, as a while later the monkeys came to accept him as part of the monkey family❤
Fun fact:
did you know that during February ‘26 google had an animation featuring Punch the monkey in cartoon on hearts if u searched ‘punch the monkey’? Yes, if you're wondering i did try it but sadly i checked and it no longer works (for me but you can still try to see if it works on your end)
